But we had our neighbour over for a cop of coffee just now and she was talking about her son: a 40 something businessman, happily married with a child of 14 years old…

Happily married? Well, he just divorced his wife and got himself a new Thai bride. Thailand can be more than just an exotic holiday destination it seems.

Anyway, I still prefer this kind of news than the daily absurd killings on the TV news :-(

I mean: a divorce is sad but a re-marriage is fun.

Where is there any good news about the Iraq war??? Just useless killings of innocent lives because there are some hidden interests that are really worth billions!!!

Spend billions on a satellite and than send a missile to destroy it…

Who is retired and who is retarded?

How big an idiot do you need to be to say: we need to shoot the satellite down because it could fall on somebodies’ head.

What about debris?

The earth is 75% water and most of the places are inhabited, so the chance that any debris falls on somebodies’ head is quite small…

Why don’t we have enough retirement money?

Tax money well spent in the air? Why don’t you just burn the money once you receive it?

Why can all this happen?

Because in our democratic system we don’t have people to vote for that care about us, nor about our children it seems :-( Clinton and Obama speak about healthcare, not about retirees. And the republicans love to shoot away money in Iraq…

Which is great since my wife filters out all the rubbish and from time to time I learn some good tips for eating and living healthy, or a simple yet good recipe or some wisdom about this or that disease.

Now I was always told that Oprah didn’t mingle with politics, until today I saw for myself how she and her dear friend Maria Schriver (oh yes, from the Kennedy clan) endorses Barack Obama…

So I wonder… how much lobbying is needed for Obama to get endorsed on the "I don’t mingle with politics" most popular US daily show?

If it’s not about race like we are supposed to believe, then why doesn’t one woman like Oprah endorse another woman like Hillary Clinton?

Oh yes, right, I forgot "Oprah doesn’t mingle with politics…" So it’s just "smart" from the Kennedy’s to have a foot in the house of the Oprah show, especially during elections….
