<p><img src="http://www.outdoortravelhumor.com/beer-smiley.jpg" align="right" width="75" height="93" border="1" vspace="2" hspace="4" alt="beer smiley">I am not such an alcohol lover, although I used to make wine and beer (buying is much faster and easier, not to mention better). In my younger student days we used to make some alcohol out of wine, and now being retired, I think it&#8217;s safe to mention <img src='http://www.outdoortravelhumor.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>But every year I will make sure I get myself my fresh portion of birch juice.</p>

<p>Far the easiest way is taking a twig, cutting it and putting it in a bottle. It cannot get any easier and the tree isn&#8217;t that damaged in the process!</p>
